During the summer of 2011, Edward Looney served as a Guide for Summer Pilgrims, giving daily history talks on the Shrine’s history. This book reflects that talk, broken down into an easy to understand, question and answer format. The book serves as a practical guide through the Shrine because each section presents specific questions relevant to the Upper Church, Crypt, Grounds, and General History. While most questions are historical, some are more practical to the shrine itself.

The small book is wonderful. It is a guided tour of The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help and answers so many questions, such as…
  • “What’s the story about this place?”
  • “How do we know this is the actual site of the apparition?”
  • “Do healings still happen today?”
  • “Where is (Sister) Adele buried?”
It is a very easy read – written by a young seminarian for the Diocese of Green Bay, Edward Looney
